Snyder Bend Park near Salix, Iowa, is again open to the public following storm damage sustained in May 2026.    Cabins, shelters, campgrounds, and restrooms will be open, but some additional facilities may remain closed as repairs continue. 

Please note that campsite reservations and payments are now handled exclusively online through MyCountyParks.com.  In-person payments – including cash or checks – will no longer be accepted at park offices or campgrounds.  Any campsite not reserved in advance will still be available for same-day online booking, whether from home or upon arrival.  QR codes are posted at each site to quickly check availability and complete your reservation.
