The range will be closed during the winter months of January and February, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day each year.
Users are reminded that a permit is required to use the range. Daily $10 permits can be purchased at the site and $50 Individual or Family Annual Permits can be purchased online through the Conservation Board website at www.woodburyparks.com. The range reopened last August 29 following renovations after being closed 16 months due to vandalism and safety concerns. Persons using the range since August have taken excellent care of the newly refurbished facility. Volunteer Range Safety Officers will assist with answering questions, assist users with registration and permits and conduct general patrol of the area. Plans for Spring 2016 include the installation of a vault latrine to provide a comfort station for visitors.
